we definitely want to stay away. it gets a little crazy, to say the least. my goal is communication and fostering relationships (or whatever) and an irish pub is not really the best venue for that on the biggest night of the year.
besides. my fair irish skin, magic eyes, and quick wit/temper are constant credentials. not to mention FRECKLES! (:

it's ALWAYS a long ass trip. that's why i don't go up there as much as i'd like. we need to find someway to re-organize cali so that l.a. and sf are closer to each other. a 3 hour trip would be MUCH better...
